Control/Dimming Hypothetical Question

I see less need for more screens as large 4K stuff comes down in price. A 40" 4K has the screen space of 4 'normal' 20" monitors.

I'm going to agree with a lot of the others who have responded, given the specifications an ETC ION seems like the way to go, they're a good base industry standard ad can support multiple universes if that becomes a necessity, you can add multiple fader wings on and they give good control without being overly complicated.

I haven't done one yet (font scaling) but setting it to the side and maybe portrait, would be clearer than 2 normal sceens.

3 & 4 monitors would be pretty hard to fit too.

Note that ETC is releasing an updated Ion series, or at least a new version, in a few months.

Are there any leaders out on this? A new Ion is on our CIB next year, tentatively.

It was mentioned in the opening remarks at ETC Cue, so 2 weeks ago ?. They said 6 weeks ?, but who knows.
