Do The Jaycar AM4079 Wireless Microphone System Mics have a on/off switch on them?

From just looking at the picture on the website I would say there is a side mounted on/off switch on the microphones.

There appears to be an LED above the switch.

Unfortunately, the web site seems to provide little information other than the picture. It is their product and they stand to profit from it, so they should be able and willing to answer a question like this. They do have Customer Service contact info shown on the web site so I would try contacting them directly to get a definitive answer.

A power switch is a standard provision on any wireless mic I know. The photo would tend to confirm that.

I think it it worth mentioning these microphones appear to operate in the 700-800 meg bands, which are not legal in the US.

They have finally got back to me and they said that they did not have mute switches on them, only on/off ones.

Yep fine, the discussed market is Aus from my understanding and so these will remain legal for use until at least the end of 2013...
