Hey, some other options here depending on your budget - the Zylight ProPalette and the
Robert Juliat DALIS 863 Access.
The ProPallet works extremely well, and at 350w puts out more light than just about any other
cyc fixtures on the market. You can space them at almost 6' on center, which means fewer fixtures per
cyc, and the control is extremely simple - 4 channels, or you can even set it to be HSI control for even simpler operation. Should be ~$2300 per
fixture from a dealer.

The RJ Dalis is redesigned from the original with a 4-color
system, including a tungsten-ish white, and still available in 1 or .5
meter fixtures. It pulls 150w, but with the custom optics it punches out a decent amount of light with great saturated colors. It's super slim and connects very easily, so swapping out
conventional cycs is easy. It's a linear
batten style
fixture, so you basically need the
line your
cyc, but you can put about 12" between them to
ease the quantity needed without sacrificing too much in overlap.

If you do demo a
unit, make sure you get more than 1! 3 is ideal to be able to see how the fields work together to
wash your
cyc. 1
unit will not give you a true impression of how much light hits your
cyc.
Cheers, and good luck!
