LED's for strip lights

Our strip lights currently have incandescent "flood lights" in them. About one half are burned out and we are thinking of replacing ALL of them with LED's so the light is consistent. Question = Can you recommend a dimmable LED flood light, or should we think about investing in new LED strip lights. Any help is appreciated.

We'll need a lot more info to give specific recommendations. What kind of strip light? What kind of lamp? What kind of dimmer?

But, you'll have to make some serious compromises *if* it will work with your dimmers. Best case scenario you'll get a pop on and off on the low end of the dimming spectrum, even with the best lamps.

I just went thru the mental exercise of replacing incandescent strip lights with LED strips for a project. "Investing" is a good concept to use..... replacing ONE 40' run with LED strip lights comes out to around $18,000 (prices will vary of course).
Are you still interested? Maybe use a bunch of LED PARs instead.... now you're only talking about one-third of that amount.
Second cbrandt caution regarding replacement LED lamps. The only way you will know for sure it will work is to do a test (and not by replacing just one lamp). You must replace one entire circuit of lamps with your potential LED versions to see how your particular dimmers will handle them. One incandescent lamp in the circuit will drastically skew the results.
