Hive mind question. Outdoor rock boston voyark 5s speakers that the zoo is getting rid of in an in house auction. Can’t find much info on them. Looking for price per and quality mainly. Sound isn’t my wheel house so don’t hold back on elaborating or criticizing.

I can't claim any experience or knowledge of the product, but I did a little internet sleuthing. It looks like there are two different speakers in those pictures. The ones on the lot 50 pallet all appear to be one type, and most of them on the lot 49 pallet look like they are another (with one of the other sitting on top). The actual product for the lot 49 pallet appears to be Boston Acoustics Voyager RK5 (the model number is probably VOYARK5S). I found the data sheet with the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20101222164002/http://www.bostonacoustics.com/PDFs/Voy_RK_NPA.pdf These appear to be the New England Granite version, originally retailed for $250 each.

I can't find what I feel is an exact product match for the ones in lot 50. They look similar to a Klipsch model, but hard to tell.

Update now that they are home.

The "six wires" are likely the transformer primary taps, since you can't conveniently get inside the rock to wire it up.
