Powering a Telex Intercom

When setting up a Telex Intercom system, do I need the dedicated power system, or can something like a TELEX MCE325 User station power the belt packs while also being used as a point for a user?

No. The intercom system must have a Telex/RTS main power unit installed. The MCE325 only powers itself.
