Anyone else notice that scenic needs tend to bunch up? Last year in my shop was year of the trees. we did 6 or 7 trees all for different clients. From realistic 3d culpted jobs to claymation looking things to futuristic wire mesh type things. Now we're into June of 2018 and we've built two cars this year. Anyone else notice that stuff seems to come in batches? Maybe its like a numerology thing and if I'm looking for a pattern it I find one...

Or the Planes, Trains and Automobiles season: Drowsey Chaperone, White Christmas, Sunset Boulevard.

The rule I have found is if I keep a specific custom prop or set piece for any length of time. I never need it until RIGHT after I have taken it apart or trashed it.

Oh yeah. We had cabinetry year a few seasons ago. I think we did like 5 kitchens in a year, all full build outs with hardwood cabinets.
