Hi there
I was wondering if anyone's ever had carpeted speakers that were stored indoors become "sticky". Tacky, like gluey. It was suggested to me that the glue failed, considering these are 4 year old $1k speakers I hope not. Nothing has ever been spilled on them, its all over, and they were kept covered and the covers are not sticky so it has to be some sort of carpeting issue. I'm chicken to clean the carpet for fear of destroying it and was poking around to see if anyone else every had this happen. It's called carpet but others called it felt, I honestly can't tell which it is! The sticky comes off when you touch them making it rather , ick, to handle them. Any ideas? Thanks!
