Conventional Fixtures Strand Axial Lekolite, gobos?

Do these fixtures support Gobo's? If so, what size? Any particular gobo manufacturer best for this particular light? I love this site, have always come here b/c Google sent me here; finally signed up after 6--7 years or visiting it. Thanks!

Photobucket is not being friendly for me right now, but is it one of the older lekos with the arched cast aluminum yoke?

It should take gobos, probably a "B" size like the Altman 360Q. Any steel gobo should have similar performance -- just make sure you have a really good bench focus. Make that field as flat as possible.

Edit: Is this the fixture you have?

There should be a slot just in front of the top shutter if it accepts gobos.

A standard steel gobo from any of the usual suspects will work fine, but no glass gobos. A or B size, but depending on the gobo holder (dipstick), you may have to trim the edges of the non-image area to fit.

I believe those yokes are cast aluminum. One of the only flaws with the fixtures, other than being older and less efficient, is that the yoke can break rather than bend if hit hard enough. Otherwise, a good light.

Never had, or saw, a yoke break, but other parts (especially gelframe clips and the spring-catch that holds the hinged rear-body reflector housing) were very susceptible to damage.
