Wireless Teamspeak and Telex

I have a Telex intercom system that runs BP-1002 belt packs. I'd like to hook this up to a computer that is running Teamspeak client so that the belt pack is always on, the client is listen and talk always, so that the other people running Teamspeak on their wireless phones can interface with the Telex system.

We have needed a wireless headset for some time but a Telex wireless belt pack is >1k and we simply do not have a budget for this item. Looking for ideas that are DIY.

The only problem I can see with this is that it will really only be on way unless you have it plugged into a high end mixer. I've tried this, but you can really only recieve into the computer, because of the way my usb mixer worked. It also put out a call signal, because it sends out ~12v phantom power.

I just spliced the 4 pin xlr onto 2 stereo jacks. I can't get to the theatre for two weeks, but is there any chance that would work?
