Wireless Telex BTR-300 broadcast and pick up problems

I have just installed my Telex BTR-300 system in my theater and it doesn't comunicate with the TR-300 belt packs more than 10 feet away. Any suggestions?

Assuming the antennas are connected properly (the btr-300 has two antennas which are slightly different size one for transmit and one for receive) People ("may" I say this loosely knowing that you are in another country with different regulation on radio frequencies) be able to offer more help if they knew the frequencies on which the belt-packs operate on. RF interference is something that is very dependent on location. AKA other things broadcasting on those frequencies near by such TV stations.

I would not know where to start looking for frquency information for Egypt...

With that little range, it sounds like one of 2 things, either there are no antennas connected or you are right on top of a local TV station and the transmitter is fairly close by - ie. you are being saturated...
