Control/Dimming UV Cannon

Has anybody used an ADJ UV Canon with a DMX Relay? Specifically the Chauvet DMX Dimmer/Relay Pack?

I have used it with a CD80 relay and it works just fine. Those chauvet relay/dimmer things are not real contact closure relays, so you might want to watch out on that one. The only bad thing about the UV canon is it takes about 3 minutes to totally warm up. When its up, its great. For the price, it works.

Yeah, don't think you are going to connect the relay and BOOM its on. Not that easy. The best way to do it is to connect a motor to a DMX board and make yourself a douser.

The best way I've seen UV dimming done was by using a gel scroller with a blackout gel in it.
