So I have been have been using VW 2011 for all my drafting for a while and have begun to run into a problem with the size of my PDF's exported. So here is the problem, when I export a pdf I end up with a 2-3mb file that requires flattening when printed? I only have started to run into this problem lately. The plots have a bit of hatching and such, however nothing that should warrant the size. I have tried exporting images at a set dpi instead of on screen resolution and reducing the dpi from 300, however I dont feel i should have to export a plot at 50dpi in order to get a manageable file size. Any help/ideas would be great. I have checked over the VW board and have tired most of the page and export changes and still nothing.
