Vectorworks Light Information Help

I am a new user of Vectorworks and just finished my first light plot on it. After inserting all of the lights and entering the information (purpose, position, channel, dimmer, color, etc), the information never entered onto the plot.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to create a Label Legend and assign that to each light.

I am assuming you are using VW 2011 or 2012, if not things may be different. Under the Spotlight tab on the File menu, you will find Label Legend. There you will find Label Legend Manager and Assign Legend to Instrument. Set up the Manager with the proper info. The name you use will be the name you enter in the Object Info Palette. Select the lighting device, scroll all the way to the bottom, and find "Use Legend." Enter the name of the Label you want to use and you should be good to go.

It helps if you start with an active legend before you insert devices.
