Design Vectorworks Spotlight 2011

Hello all. I am the new (first actually) technical director at Volcano Vista High School in Albuquerque, NM. I have been the CAD Architecture and Engineering teacher for the past 3 years and decided to order in Vectorworks for my students for next year. I am having a heck of a time finding any good training books or resources that will assist me in learning the softwarwe. Any suggenstions?

ArchonCAD
I used his Essential Tutorial when I was starting out. He doesn't have a Spotlight specific tutorial, but I think his Essential is a really good way to get a foundation in Vectorworks or even in CAD in general if that is the case for your students. Without the Spotlight specific, I'm not so sure if you want to bother, though...

+10. When I first got VW I used that book and it is fantastic. Pretty expensive for the length but well worth it. Just keep in mind that it really only addresses constructing light plots not any of the other functionality of VW.

The native help is not very helpful, is it? Here are the training manuals available from VW (which include some of those mentioned above): Training Guides

Haven't used them, so can't speak for them.
