VL 2500 Lamp Issue

Rookie poster here: We purchased some used VL 2500 units last year that have worked fine. One will no longer lamp on. We replaced the lamp but nothing. The manual says to check the "light cutout switches" but I can see no switches in the locations indicated. Am I blind or are they hiding on me?

The thermostat at the lamp housing is hiding down inside the head.
Here's a couple of photos that illustrate the location.

There's a thermal sensor stuck to the color/gobo module somewhere, too.

There's also a microswitch that acts like a cutout inside the lamp door assembly that's only closed when the lamp door is properly seated.

All of these should read as closed when tested with an ohmeter in normal operating conditions. When you power up the fixture, you should hear a very audible relay click - this relay is what passes power from the ballast to the ignitor, and it won't close if any of the switches aren't working properly. If you have the relay clicking and the lamp still isn't coming on, you have another problem.
