I am currently working on a project that requires a number of table lamps to be controlled through our console. The installation is at a nightclub so we cannot have any cords. What would the best method of getting these lamps easily transportable and controllable?
I really like the RC4 wireless dimmers for this type of application. It is usually pretty easy to hide the dimmer and batteries in base or stand of a table lamp.

We do the same, RC4 works great for this. You just need to find an appropriate lo-vo lamp that'll work on the fixture, plus a rechargeable battery (or not)
