The scenic team for my next show has a bunch of these belt lights installed in the scenery:

It's falling on me to wire them up and I'm not sure what's the best way to go about it. They share a common neutral, so my brain is telling me they won't play nice with the theatrical dimmers (since the odds are good that they'll be out of phase). I have a small ADJ dimmer pack - would that behave if I spilt the common, or would that pop with current coming back on the "off" channels?
I've only been able to find a couple commercially available controllers, and they're expensive and pretty limited in functionality (plus nothing I've found is DMX controllable...) Is there something out there that I'm missing? Have any of y'all used these before? Have any suggestions?
