No, there is no interface that allows computer connection for the Innovator... I wish, since I have one myself.

Do you have any other boards?
Note: There IS, however, an Off Line Editor, (I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for here). This will allow you to create and edit shows - but you DO need a 3 1/2 in. diskette drive to transfer files between board and computer. Plus it only runs on Windows XP. It's available for download from the Leviton website for free.

I looked into this last week, the only thing the network interface is for is to put another video monitor elsewhere in the venue. There is a RFR (Remote Focus Remote) but its costs over a grand, so I doubt your budget would cover that, if it takes a USB Keyboard, I guess you could go down that route to give you remote control. We spoke about it here earlier this week. But why do you need to control it from a computer? Whats wrong with just doing it at the desk? Beside a desk is pretty much allways more reliable than a computer.
In short, you cant.

I don't understand this comment. Do you want to control the console from your computer because you are running something on your computer that needs to sync with lighting? If that is the case there are many solutions. If you just wanted to be able to not be at the console for control, then everything that has been said still stands.

Yeh, unfortunatley, that can't be done, your desk just doesnt have that ability. If you are super desperate, you could get a DMX-USB adapter, and use software to control everything, thus elimiating the need to use the desk, but that defeats the object of having a console in the first place, you are going to have to face facts, that you can't control your desk with a PC unless you are a computer god, and know how to re-write firmware ect ect. And that's virtually impossible. What do you mean you don't want to slide a large amount of sliders and miss a couple? This sounds like you are running the desk in preset mode. You can program cues into it, I presumed you knew that but it sounds like you don't.... I have attatched the manual, so hopefully you can learn how to program onto this relativley simple desk. Have a read through This you have no idea how much you can learn just by re-reading a manual, even if it is boring. Hope I solved your problem. If you can't acess the console all the time, there is a OLE (Of Line Editor) that lets you play with a virtual console. You can get that here and I would aslo sugest you make sure you are using the latest software version, the latest one is 1.35, and you can get that here check your manual for how to upgrade.

Completely agree with NickJones. It sounds like you are not running your show using a cue stack, which is a legitimate way to do things, but highly inefficient. Programming cues is as simple as setting the look you like, hitting "Record cue X enter" and then pushing the GO button to play it back. Then all you have to do is hit the button at the right time. You would get the same functionality out of your console like that as what you want to do with your computer or what would would get with an PC based controller.
To change your mode from a 2-scene preset, go into setup and change it to single-scene mode. It's really easy to do so. If you would like help figuring out how to use the "GO" button on your console, just ask.
If you aren't able to change it out of 2-scene present mode, you could always use the keypad to enter in items or set submasters to do the work for you, too. These are all really easy to do on the Innovator.
I hope we have not underestimated your intelligence. The instruction manual (attached above by Nick) is worth reading if you don't know what to do - especially the first couple sections. If you are still having problems, myself, Sayen, MNBallet, renegadeblack, soundlight and Shakspeares suck are all fairly adept at programming the Innovator and would be more than happy to help you out

i know it has been said a couple of times already but i just wanted to tell you that a quick reading of the manual can change your look about the board. i would read over the chapters called: setup, submasters, and cues. they will give you step by step in how to program submaster and cues. i learned who to use the innovator mostly by read the manual and can tell you that it helps. what i like doing and yes i know its a waste of time but i still do it is program my show to submaster then take those and programing them into cues.
