can you identify this gobo?

no idea where the client got the photo, or if it's custom. Need to have this before 09/24. Any help is appreciated.

Never seen it, but it is beautiful. You could send it to a dealer and have Rosco or Gam make you one. Just to be inquisitive Have you ever done Acid etching or custom Gobo work? There is a relatively cheap way to make custom gobos but they normally don't last more than a show or two. If your interested I'll do some research and get back to you. I've done it before a couple of times, but that was was over a decade ago in my outdoor drama days, and I don't want to tell you wrong.

The bride isn't going to spend $100 for a custom. She doesn't care if it's that exact thing, but if I can find it ...

Looks like a butterfly to me, if you know the bride won't spend that kind of money then you can make it yourself for cheap. We make gobos at our church once in a while, it's not hard to do, although it would be easier to do with a laser cutter. But all you need is a disposable oven liner, a self healing cutting matt, a template, an exacto knife and a good sharp pair of scissors to cut the gobo out. I've done it before, it's easier with an image that isn't too detailed, text is hard to do. Something like that would be tricky, if you know what lines to leave when you're cutting.

you can see the ones I did here:

here's my attempt at text

and the ones I wound up doing instead (it was a very last minute decision to do this, otherwise I might have been able to do the text)

I don't think I took pictures of the other one I made, to match the one that we had a second of at church, but went MIA. Actually I think that's the one we've been using. I should check to see if I have pictures of the cut out though. That was a bit easier because I just took the pro gobo and used it to trace out the pieces. But it had some tiny pieces that I couldn't cut with the exacto knife.
