Mixers/Consoles 01V faders sticking

I am using an old Yamaha 01V mixer, not the new one, the original, and i have problems with my Faders getting stuck. its not my board and the company wont replace it, is there a way to clean the fader out so it wont stick, or should i just start moving channels around so i dont have to use it?

No, for whatever reason they wont do either. i think i am going to just move my channels around and stop using that one

Did you try a fader calibration? Hold "enter" while switching the unit on, then it should calibrate the faders.

You can pick up a new fader for $20 on ebay...installation is fairly straight forward. It could be a few different things with your fader. Something could be bent, the gears driving it could be wearing out, it could be dirty, etc.

The average repair guy around here charges $75 an hour.
If they won't lay out $100 to get this fixed, something is wrong.

yea, i calibrate twice a week, it sticks then too.
