Control/Dimming 4 out of 8 LED PAR cans do not turn on.

Hello,

I have 8 LED PAR cans daisy chained on one address(217) when connected to the magicq pc console, only 4 of the cans turn on. Does anyone have a clue on what the problem is? They will turn on manually but no by the dmx controller.

If they're working on standalone, but not with a controller, the logical thing is either bad cable or a bad data port in the last light that is working. Connect each of the four failures directly to the controller and see what happens.

Check all your settings on the read out or the dip switches (depending on which). Hook each fixture up independently as a test. Also, if it has a standalone test mode on the par, run it to make sure the unit works. Check your power as well to each unit. Since half your units work, you can rule out the console and focus on the units.

How much cable is being used? Is it four random? Is it the last four? Is it the first four?
