a simple chemisty question of soap

I love GoJo. Mainly when I'm done changing lights and I have that oily, dusty, dirty, black sludge on my hands from the random crap up in our loft.

One way to track down the ingredients of many products is to locate a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). A requirement under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) [CFR = Code of Federal Regulations] just about every product made has one, and most can be found on the internet, usually by searching for [name of product] and MSDS. Alternatively, an MSDS can be obtained from the supplier.

MSDS's include information such as physical data (melting point, boiling point, flash point etc.), toxicity, health effects, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment, andspill/leak procedures. However, some manufacturers do a better job at providing detail that others.

See the OSHA website http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/hazardcommunications/index.html for more information.
