On our ION DMX universe 1 is used for the dimmers and DMX universe 2 goes backstage for distribution to the intels back there.
The booth is well ventilated. Has climate control and maintains a constant temp of around 60 degrees.
I set everything up today and daisy chained the two fixtures in before the distribution box and after the board and everything is working perfectly. Avoided having to run another length of cable and degrading the signal.
