Chauvet SlimPar Pro LED fixture - Opinions?

Hey guys,

Has Anyone worked with Chauvet's SlimPar Pro LED Series yet?

I think for the $400 price point, and you get dimming curves, it is a great value....Or am I missing something here?


Has anyone worked with these fixtures yet?

If you're speaking of the Slim Par Pro Tri, the Map is $ 399.00 for this 54w RGB fixture. You might want to compare it with Blizzard's Puck Q12/A which is a 120w quad diode fixture featuring 12 - 10w RGBA diodes and MAPs for only $ 299.00

But is the dimming choppy? The $100 can make all the difference...

I have 10 slimpar pro tri fixtures and running a software based console (ChamSys magicQ). I find the dimmer curves are smooth, and are not lacking in brightness either. I have used 5 on front and 5 on back truss and have been able to wash a 40x32 stage. Hope this helps
