Colortran Innovator 24/48--trackball

Does anyone know how to control pan and tilt by the trackball in the stage mode ... using automated lights as a follow spot in a live performance? I have a COlortran Innovator 24/48

I'm thinking the trackball on that console is a single axis device - just up and down - but I could be wrong.

Thanks, Any help that way... read it through, but I 'm still a beginner when it come to digital lighting and cant make it work in the live mode.
