I'm looking for resources for digital content creation for theatre. For example a desert scene with clouds slowly moving. Or an interior of a gothic cathedral. Interior of king solomons temple.

Besides finding stock images online what and who are the go to companies?

Are you looking to buy complete content or are you looking for someone who has the stock elements to build it yourself? There are a few royalty free companies that I frequent for images when I am going to build something. You can hire someone like Blue Pony (part of the Apollo family) that can build it all for you. Maybe there is someone here that can get you a discount.

If you are up to creating motion from stills, check out plotagraphpro.com. It is a subscription based software that is quite unique in the way it allows you to create motion from stills (eg. passing clouds whilst freezing the ground scenery).
