Dimmer Problem?

Working on a show and for some reason some not all of my dimmers are not working properly. I will turn 1 channel on and it will dim normally. If I turn on another channel the fixture would be at 100% intensity but on my desk it only says it is at 20% and when I turn the fixture to full there is no difference between the intesnity at 20 or Full.

Any Help with possible problems?

Sounds like a lot of different things.

Need the dimmer info.

The board you are using.

Just to start any kind of troubleshooting.

Two things I feel like it could be:

• Non-dim profile set at either the desk or dimmer rack CEM (if applicable)

• Blown power cube/SSR/triac in the dimmer module itself

Does the console have any on/off control? There are a few different failure modes that I'm aware of. First look for any strange profiles that have been set, and if your racks accomodate it, swap modules and see if the problem moves to a new circuit or stays at the current one. As @Amiers said, that's about as much as we can do since we don't know much about the system you're working with.
