A local charitable organization asked me to help them with lighting for an event this week. They already had some LED pars which looked great....until i read the manual. So, these lights have RGBAW (seperate diodes for each) and UV. If I just use the panel on the back, I can use all the colors. BUT, if I connect them to a board to run DMX, there are only channels for the main dimmer, RGB, and UV (and several strobes). Essentially, cannot use the Amber and White diodes when controlling from a board. Now, the lights are good enough that this isn't a huge issue and I wont really need those (literally just lighting a speaker), but I'm frustrated that the cheap chinese company wouldn't include those mixing options. I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram one of these lights to have more channels. I'm sure there is, but its probably better just to buy new lights. Oh well!
