Multiplex and DMX at the same time

This thread pre-dates my arrival here... but my old shop had several Lightronics multiplex 'shoebox' dimmers. We sent them to the factory for the DMX retrofit and I think they're all still working to this day. Eventually we sold most of them to bands and a little theater group that needed dimming for the donated 60 year old fixtures they had.
I don't recall any difference in the max/min output but the curves didn't match between multiplex and DMX. Not enough to be a problem in a bar band but in theater it would probably give fits to a designer. The mis-match of curves and no apparent way to change it meant we had all our Lightronics dimmers converted to DMX.
