Watching their demo video, it looks VERY MUCH like it's really just 6.x+1; no major visible UI changes that would justify a major-release bump. I suppose I should have expected that...

I dunno; maybe they've redone the doco; further investigation is probably called for. Or more caffeine and naproxen...
