Telex BTR-24 and TR-24 Issues

I'm having problems with the range issues in the Telex BTR-24 base station with the TR-24 headsets within 20 feet and less. Any ideas as to why? Appreciate the help.

Have you tried different channels? is there other WiFi interference in the area?

Have you got the Tx/Rx antennae flipped?

I seem to remember that pressing and holding the select button on the base station will scan for a clear channel, might give that a try.

I have the same system, with the same issues.... i am told by Bosch, parent company of Telex, that they are having a lot of issues with interference in their line of 2.4 ghz due to the proliferation of cell phones and the like. He informed me that even having a cell phone in your pocket can cause issues. I tried using larger, more powerful antennas to boost the signal, but that had no effect. One thing to try and combat the issues would be to make sure you don't have much WiFi in the area. Other than that.... GOOD LUCK!
