Thomas 8-light blinder

The most prevalent lamp is the 650W DWE. If three circuit, it's 3,3,2; so 3x650=1950, 3x650=1950, 2x650=1300.

Done it before in two 8-Lights slaved to one plug with lights within a mounted truss assembly.

Yes, if Circuits 1&2 are three lamp thus 16.25 Amp, and Circuit 3 is 10.833 amps, as long as you balance your load, sure to one VSC / Soco or two fixtures per that.

For your instance - not sure how you would intend to wire it for 1.2K in the above normal, and all would be beyond the capabilities of a 1.2Kw dimmer. Six circuits per Soco, eight lamps per 8-light, two of them in wired together if re-wired for one lamp per circuit, two circuits will now be over the rating of the dimmer by a bit but sufficiently by 100 Watts - this beyond any concept of 80% voltage drop or load issues in never getting to max that dimmer out.

Nope... won't work - do the 2.4Kw dimmers for all.

This unless in seriese wired ACL mode. Not mentioned and far different lamps thus in not mentioning, probably not the case in tight beam lamps in use instead of wash light lamps.
