Why Can't ETC Make an Accurate Clock

I always have my computer running nomad right next to the console and my phone is on me. Thats 2 accurate clocks right there. I wish when the console was connected with a laptop or phone with ETC NET, the time would sync, so it is accurate while connected to a laptop/phone. Oh well...
