XL5900 series splash screen

Is there any way to change the splash screen on the Mitsubishi XL5900 series projector? The brochure and the manual say that it can be done but they then say "consult your dealer." That would be great but no one knows who the dealer was anymore.

It doesn't have to be your specific dealer. Any Mitsu dealer should be able to tell you how. You also might try contacting Mitsu customer support directly.
