Well... I've managed to snag another "toy". This time it's a Kliegl SCR Test kit. It seems to be in great shape, only real issue is the deteriorating rubber cord. My hope is to make this a sort of "working display" in my collection. I have a 12k module of the same era that I plan on building into a nice wood/plexi box. The SCR tester appears to contain a very simple firing card, so getting things working shouldn't be too difficult. Although in this state it will never see a full 12k load, it would be fun seeing it bring a 100w bulb or random fixture up/down. As with all my other projects, I'll continue to post updates as I get time and make progress.
