I recall the JTM 2.4, 3.6 & 6.0 KW dimmers in racks of 12 & 20 with their little 'Tom Terrific' hats atop their fans and I remember the 20 & 40 channel 2 scene desks that accompanied them. I DO NOT recall the desks being called JTM's.

Ah! Do you know what the desks are called? We assumed that they were from the same era. Here's a photo

In a word; NO.
The desks I'm remembering were 2 scene presets with Red knobs on their upper scene and Green knobs on their lower.
The desk's faders were flat; your desk has the curved faders more reminiscent of the IDM Cue memory consoles of the early 70's although yours is definitely NOT a memory console. The curved faders supplied with the IDM Cues were internally illuminated and pressing them down produced a reading on the one and only meter.

In 1973, we had an IDM Cue in our mainstage and the original white cased (one eye'd) mini Palette in our studio space.
In town, our community college had 40 x 2.4 Kw JTM's. When I moved to Stratford, Ontario in 1977, their main stage had an IDM Cue controlling 100 JTM's rated 2.4, 3.6 & 6.0 KW. At the time there were only four IDM Cues in Canada; BC TV, Stratford's Main stage, ours in Hamilton and the 4th in Ottawa's National Arts Centre.

Sorry, as said to Mooving Lights Dpt. Mgr, and Console Cage Mgr,... Even the LED/Strobe/Scroller Dpt. Manager. I have incandescent fixtures and cable type gear in collection. General Manager wants similar stuff from your departments in collectin. I have when provided to me, given control gear to other departments lack of display in only examples. But I have no wish to expand my focus in collecting. I already have more than I have time to inventory.

Anyway, for the most part my museum is descomated. I will hang at least four more fixtures on pipe space availablein getting them out of my garage, and still actively collect... but not control or other gear.

I would recommend sending your gear to ETC. They can figure out what to do with it. Edit that... don't send your gear to ETC, but do inquire with your rep. from them if they want it. In that way they did get a rare light board and did pay for it. Or might know of another home for it. Otherwise lobby sculpture is always a good thing for display and fund raising.

And the Shop Manager has gone "open space" concept for the shop in removing many important lights from the collection display. What used to take me minutes or less to find in parts, requires a search in pallets from multiple buildings including and especially one like ten miles away. Stuff to organize and put away, once given space in the other buildings to do so. And of course time to put the gear away in an organized way.

I do now have a small room in the building 10 miles away for some of the large and oldest gear. But that's for the large gear. Some of the oldest small gear I had to take home to the attic. Given the remote building is un-supervised, and I own the smaller gear... Museum is what it is now. This given I as of yesterday have five more fixtures not in it that I can hang once done in restoring.

Too bad I don't have another space to hang or present the collection. I would pull all I own and get permission from those owning other fixtures... than the General Mananager and designers would ask... what happened to your collection? Err, gee the Shop Manager didn't want them... and I took what I own to a new space. So the shop is displaying what they own in collection (about 1/3.) But we do have an open space shop...

Not going to happen short of me renting a storage space... but yep... at least 30 minutes in finding a cord grip, or 3 hours to pull together parts for a LED project once easily found in my department. It is what it is and we turn in weekly milage gas charges in going to the remote site in the company paying milage, and I cite on the daily report of time spent - time wasted in searching for gear at remote sites. "Open Space" functional shop....

I was unsure if you collected control or not so I figured I would tag you incase. Yes ETC had their museum of memories but I don’t think it included strand consoles.

I hope you find a good home for the gear. Sorry in control gear not something really collected - but only so much one can do.

lobby sculpture! Hook a few dimmers up to LEDs and the kids will flock to it to try color mixing, etc.

Sorry a mis-understanding of the above post about lobby sculpture as per this light board controlling some lights etc. Never thought of that before in a great idea.

Good point, but given a Kliegl Bros.#1179 w. Boomerang from about 1950 with gelled boomerang, and lamped down to 2Kw CYX for show usage lamp... could be much more the thrill factor than any LED could do given the output and size in an antique but very complete fixture. Small motercle in size... so if kids in the lobby, and plugged in... much more fun than control of some LED's Also in the lobby is a c.1936 Mole Fresnel - their first version of Studio Fresnel, and a Strand Patt. #73 6” PC/Leko pre-Leko. c. 1934-1936 which was the last PC fixture from Strand before they went Leko.

TBA a bunch of 8" cannon Lekos to the front lobby window / reception area as a new idea.

Back 20+ years ago as lobby sculpture in my "store front theater" I also had "Audrie II" the mid-sized plant from "Little Shop of Horrors"

Point taken if many kids visit for something to do... but normally in a pro' lighting shop, it's not "Discovery Center" for the lobby. More what is done in the production rooms with moving lights they can wheel around.

Instead, the Brenkert Carbon Arc “Junior” “Crescent” Model BAG, SN #552, Carbon Arc 6" PC Spotlight w. Shutters installed. c.1907's-1911. is around the corner as one comes out of the front office to go to shop or Execuitive Dining room - premium condition. Not something kids can understand in opening the door to the shop, but designers for large shows would notice. Beyond that a controler for I believe track spots with it it's Atarri like control lever.

Lobby sculpture is important and if kids visiting more than a school trip once a year is something to think about., Antique lighting can as I have over the years restored on old fixtures RGB self changing lobby art. Or as I did last year to the extent of prop lighting entire theater spaces with RGB sourced lights and even chandeleers. Even is only like 25 watt in out put, so only the glow as it were. Yep, made house LEKO' as it were lobby sculpture into prop light LED/DMX. Properly bench focused etc. working lights DMX controlled, 70 year old Leko's and almost 100 year old chandeliers into LED / RGB prop lights controlled by the light board.

Unless at a venu where kids are, doing lobby sculpture for them is not important. Audrie II was more popular than the lights on display in discussion for a 'general public' interest somewherin the middle.

hey Ship ... what I really meant was "kids (at heart) of all ages!" - like you and me ... see a button, press it, want banana or interesting result. Someday I'd love to wander your halls with you. I ran Strong carbon arc followspots in HS (1969-73) and they were mega-beasts. No supervision of us sticking hands in to change rods, and I doubt ever a safety inspection. Fortunately the exhaust fan always ran loud and strong during my years with it. Zap!!
