    Huh, it differs from the version on iTunes - I think it's the same script and video, but a different narrator.... that's odd.

    It's on today at 3:30 (pacific time) on Discovery science. At least on Direct TV it is.

    Same here on Comcast cable service - channel 272 in Northern Colorado, maybe elsewhere as well.

    Should be on the Science Channel regardless of your provider, actually...

    Note that surface dying as shown in the video is just one method of making gel. Roscolux, for instance, is colored all the way through the polyester media.
