Hi,

I'm John from Alabama. I'm the Stage Manager for a 1,200 seat performing arts located on the campus of a 9,000 student 2-year college. We have approximately 140 events annually and stay booked about 280 days of each year. We have a technical staff of 6, house staff of 3, and a booking manager. I think CB is a wonderful resource and I look forward to learning from others and contributing where I can. Its great to be on board.

Contrary to popular belief, we do have running water and everyone isn't a baptist in Alabama.

You're right, CB is a wonderful resource. And you can make it better! Go into the forums, ask questions, answer questions. Use the search function. Resurrect older threads that you have a question on. It's neat.

What kind of shows do you do? Are you more of a road house or do you balance between college shows, corporate events, and traveling shows?
