NFI TEC40 Laser

Has anyone used an NFI Tec40 laser or have a manual? Purchased off eBay, and didn't come with a manual. Looking to figure out exactly how to control it via DMX. I can figure out some parts, but a manual would be great. Thanks.

Make sure you have a variance if it's over 5mw (which it appears to be). Sorry I can't help with the manual .

You can't get one from the seller/mfg? Nothing on their site?

Anyway, the easy (time-consuming) way is to set up a dimmer profile in your controller, and run through the channels step by step and see what happens.

My friend has 2 of these lasers. I'm pretty sure he has a manual. I'll get back to you next time I'm by his place.

How are the inbuilt aerial shows btw? I'm thinking of grabbing one of these.

The built in effects are really nice. Looks fantastic in haze.

Without a manual it's a hit hard to figure out all the settings and presets. There is sound mode, presets, random, self test?? I'm just guessing on these based on my limited experience with playing with it.

That laser is ILLEGAL to use in the USA, and the fines are extreme. My company has a variance to opperate high powered lasers, and I am a certified laserist, and I can tell you right now that if you are caught using that laser you will face fines up to the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
