vectorworks visualization tips

I'm trying to light a 3d model in VW. I added a bunch of fixtures and everything works fine. The only drawback is that when I go to turn on and off fixtures I can't tell which fixture is which in the visualization pallette; the names are a string of numbers i.e. 1002.1.1.0.0NNA etc. Is there a way to relable the fixtures in the visualization pallette or turn on and off fixtures from the plot?

You can use the purpose field to add a descriptor.

I think there's another way to add an identifier but I'm not in front of a copy of a computer right now.

That sounds like it would do the trick. How do I add a field to the visualization palette?

It shows up in the same field as the number if I remember correctly.
