What's an RFU?

Yeah, I kind of run some math through my head when I do this, like I have written down somewhere how large a circle of light from a Fresnel is when the batten is down and when its up and shutters open.

I don't know where you get your fresnels, but where I get mine, they don't come with shutters. That'd be a bit of a problem, what with how close the lamp needs to be to the lens to achieve a wide flood, and with how wide the light beam is at that point.

I believe the original poster meant the four handles built into almost all older Colortran fixtures. Push in the right side and the beam of light gets cut off on the left side, and likewise for top bottom and left.
