I probably should have said that the laptops are windows based. Qlab looks awesome but is only for Mac, correct?

We have some core 3 laptops and no specific software. We could just use two laptops but would prefer to prepare for the future. The budget is whatever the self funded drama club can come up with, so under $1,000.

I had a Mackie that picked up a local radio station through the XLR inputs. My suggestion would be to try one input at a time to see if you can isolate the noise in one channel. I wasn't so lucky...

In my experience, admission is the only way to go. We are a larger city high school and the audience is usually students. My biggest suggestion is to make a time limit on the acts. Some of them can really drag on...

I had a Par 56 NSP 500 Watter blow on me just last week. The odd thing is that the filament kept burning... Just the front glass of the bulb. This was the first time this has ever happened in my 15 years in this auditorium.
