Chamsys Busking

I put intensity on a playback and use palettes for most other things. I'll typically program a playback to clear all attributes as well. For example, all US ML's will be pointed toward the stage with no color, gobos, prisms, and an open shutter. That way I don't have to go through all the attributes/palettes in order to get back to "start." This is my technique on any console, not just Chamsys.

What I've learned from using Chamsys over the past 3 or so years, everybody sets up their console far differently than users on any other console.

As far as myself, it really matters what kind of show I would be doing and if I have much time for programming at all. One area to look at - turn your cross fader into either the busking master or the playback rate master. Both are very useful, depending on how your setup your console.

The more programming time I have, the less I will use pallets. Also, an extra wing is a very nice addition to the maxi wing.
