Head "Wire" for lav mics

Hi all,

I have 8 Shure body mics and belt packs. In the past, we have run the wire up our actors' necks, over their ears, and taped them around their cheek bone.

I know that some mics are on a stiff wire type accessory. Are these only available pre-made, or are there companies that will sell that accessory (and then you run your mic through it)? I like the look of them for an upcoming show, but I don't want to make shoddy ones out of found parts.

...but with the mic sitting farther back from the mouth. There is kissing involved in this show, and that particular model would be in the way

Do you want it to be a "Madonna" style full headset or would just over-ear work? If you don't want to build over-ear from scratch then you can buy something like these and a Hellermann tool:

Telex AEF-2, use a Hellermann Tool, Sleeves, and Floral wire to make the boom however you want it.
