Leprecon LPX48

Heya all,

I have been searching quite a bit and can't find a way of doing it. The thing is that I want to get rid of the floppy bay that the lpx48 has and install a USB interface. I know this board sucks , but its all we have to work with at our church and floppy disks arent the way to go. I know that you can format a USB stick so that it can be read as a floppy drive, but I am unable to find a USB drive that would connect to a floppy IDE cable. Do you guys have any ideas on how to make one from scratch or were to buy one that is affordable?

May not be possible, see the thread http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/...7-etc-expression-2-x-3-0-replacing-drive.html . No one has yet to announce success at doing this, with any desk.

A few years ago, Leprecon came out with a software update for the LPX-48 console. There were also instructions for using the updates. about 4-6 pages. Can't locate my set of those. Anyone know where I can get a copy. Can' seem to locate them on the Leprecon site.
