Lighting a Cyclorama from behind

Hi,

If I use a bounce drop to light my Cyclorama from the rear, should the Cyc lights be placed behind the bounce drop, facing downstage or in between?
I hear some people say that it should be in between and facing the drop, but then if I used a ground row, wouldn't the silhouette of the lights appear on the front Cyc, thus diminishing the drop's purpose?

I've never used one, but from what I can gather online, it appears that what you have been hearing is correct. My guess is that the light is diffused enough by the drop to fill in the silhouettes of the fixtures. Good luck.

Yes, you put the lights between the two drops facing the bounce drop. The light will diffuse the shadows of the instruments.
