Substitute for Clearcom

Hey there,

I'm doing an upcoming show in a theater that has a Clear Com system (wired) built into the theater. However, for this show we're not going to be able to rent the belt packs/headsets, and the house has none of their own.

Is there another system that is compatible with the built in Clear Com system that is easily rented in South Florida? Is there a totally separate system you'd recommend using? We've got some money to throw at this, but it's only needed for 5 weeks, so we're only looking at renting. Any thoughts?

Lots of shops should have clear com stuff available, or you could look for production intercom stuff as well. I wouldn't limit your search to south florida either as that stuff is small enough to be easily and cheaply shipped.

If your actually in Orlando there are a few good option. LMG, PRG, and Professional Wireless will all have a wired com inventory to rent from. If the installed system is just XLR jacks throughout the building then you could get a Telex, RTS, Clearcom, Production Intercom system to work.
